Looking for LASIK Near You?

For patient’s in Washington D.C. and beyond, look no further than Envue Eye & Laser Center for the best LASIK surgery near you. Dr. Rivers is a military-trained refractive surgeon, who served as the Director of the Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Program and Research Center at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. At Envue we will create a vision plan tailored specifically for you. We also offer a multitude of other eye care services for all your vision needs:

Services

LASIK – A surgical procedure used to correct vision problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. It involves reshaping the cornea with a laser to improve the way light enters the eye, resulting in clearer vision without the need for glasses or contact lenses

Cataract Surgery A safe and effective procedure that can improve vision in people with cloudy or blurred vision due to cataracts. The surgery involves removing the cloudy lens from the eye and replacing it with an artificial lens. It is a quick and relatively painless procedure that can be performed on an outpatient basis

SMILE – Sometimes called “Flapless LASIK”, SMILE is a minimally invasive form of laser eye surgery that can correct nearsightedness and astigmatism. The procedure involves creating a small incision in the cornea and using a laser to remove a tiny piece of tissue, reshaping the cornea and improving vision.

PRK – A type of laser eye surgery that can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. For patients with thin corneas, this is a safer alternative to LASIK. Recovery time is typically longer than other procedures, but results are similar

EVO ICL – A refractive implant that can improve vision in people with moderate to severe nearsightedness. The procedure involves implanting a small, soft lens in front of the natural lens of the eye to correct vision. It is an additive technology that doesn’t remove any corneal tissue

RLE – a type of vision correction surgery that can improve vision in people with nearsightedness, farsightedness, and presbyopia. The procedure involves removing the lens of the eye and replacing it with an intraocular lens (IOL).

Dry Eye – a common condition that occurs when the eyes do not produce enough tears or the tears evaporate too quickly, leading to discomfort, redness, and sensitivity to light. Treatment options include eye drops, lifestyle changes, and in some cases, surgery.

Corneal Cross-Linking – A minimally invasive procedure used to treat keratoconus. A combination of ultraviolet light and eye drops are used to strengthen collagen fibers in the cornea, reshaping it so light can reach the retina.

TriLift –  A non-invasive procedure used to lift and tighten the skin around the eyes, forehead, and cheeks. The procedure involves making small incisions and using specialized instruments to lift and reposition the underlying tissue.
